By ordering Splendclean Ltd services by telephone, e-mail or from the website splendclean.co.uk or signing the agreement the customer agrees Splendclean Ltd terms and conditions written below:

Splendclean Ltd is a Limited Company registered in England and Wales with registration number 08361826 (called shortly below Splendclean, We, ) which provides cleaning services to customers.
We aim to provide personalized quality services for each individual client with honest and trustworthy operatives (Called shortly below cleaners, cleaner, Splendclean cleaners). Splendclean cleaners  may be employed  directtly or self-employed  contracted to do cleaning services for Splendclean Ltd.

Each cleaner is fully checked and vetted. Splendclean can provide further detailed information and recommendation upon request.

All THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY SPLENDCLEAN

The customer must provide electricity and running hot and cold water on the premises where the service is to be carried out. If the customer cannot provide these, the cleaning visit may be cancelled and charge for that visit will still be applied.

Keys provided by the customer must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. If the cleaner cannot get access to the customer's property because is it impossible to unlock, a charge for that visit will still be applied.
If the customer has not provided keys, He / She must be present at the address at the appointed time. In the event of the absence of the customer, a charge will still be applied.

REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING SERVICES

Splendclean can provide trial cleaning with the cleaner with the possibility of the service becoming a regular domestic cleaning. The price per hour for this visit will be the same as the price per hour for a one-off cleaning service. If the customer wishes regular service after the trial cleaning, the charge per hour from the second visit will be as a regular service.
The minimum duration for regular domestic cleaning is 3 h per visit on a weekly basis and 3h per visit on a fortnightly basis.
Our estimation of how long it will take cleaners to do the job required is based on the previous cleaning of property of similar size. We cannot estimate in advance the exact duration of each cleaning task. It may vary depending on current conditions of the premises.

It is the customer's responsibility to provide the agency and the cleaner with instructions for the cleaning tasks, as well as all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required service. All cleaning equipment should be in good working order and safe to use.
If the cleaning materials are not suitable for the service, Splendclean reserves the right not to do the job until the customer provides the proper cleaning materials and cleaning equipment. This may lead to cancellation of the visit and charge will still be applied.
The standard regular domestic cleaning does not include wall cleaning.
We recommend that the customer check cleaner's work after each visit. If the customer is not satisfied with the cleaning, our cleaner will clean again any areas and items to the client's satisfaction free of charge as soon as possible but not later than 3 working days after the last visit.

If the customer is not agreeing for schedule with a service with fixed day of the week on weekly daily or fortnightly basis, recurring at uniform intervals (one day, one week, two weeks) without any break of the scheduled visits and or regular cancellations of the already arranged visit, we cannot define such a service as regular. We define such services as occasional. If the customer wishes to keep using our services, the price per hour will be as a one-off cleaning

Because of the customer's location or other circumstances, we may not be able to offer a cleaning service with a fixed day of the week on weekly daily or fortnightly basis, recurring at uniform intervals (one day, one week, two weeks) without any break of the scheduled visit. In occasion like this we will inform the customer before booking confirmation. If the customer wishes to use or keep using our services, the price per hour will be as one-off cleaning.
The customer may give permission to the cleaner to hold keys for the property. Splendclean will ensure that the cleaner signs a key security deposit form.

ONE-OFF CLEANING

Our estimation of how long it will take cleaners to do the job required is based on the previous cleaning of property of similar size. We cannot estimate in advance the exact duration of each cleaning task. It may vary depending on current conditions of the premises. Our estimation of the expected results is based on the information given us by the customer and on the previous cleaning of property in similar conditions. We cannot guarantee any final result if the information is incomplete or misleading. However not always all the polluted areas may be cleaned properly. It is strongly depending on the surface polluted and from the current and previous maintenance of the property. The customer may have certain expectations about the final result that cannot be achieved with the cleaning.

We clean the hard floors only with a mop. We don't use any other equipment. We cannot be responsible if the pollutions are still visible after the cleaning if the cleaning requires special other equipment then mop. We don't clean floors by hands.

If the floors cleaning requires special equipment, the customer needs to find another company specialized in this kind of service.

We don't clean marks from painted surfaces such as doors, walls, window frames or marks on the surfaces on any furniture. We don't clean tapes from window frames, from the floors, or from any surface. We don't scrub and clean the paint from floors, frames, furniture or any surface. For after builders cleaning we clean only dust left from the builders, we don't clean any marks of paint from the floors or from any surface.
The one-off cleaning is usually a deep cleaning and may take twice the length of time required for a standard domestic cleaning. 

For the One-Off Cleaning, the minimum charge for the visit is for 4 hours.

Please note that for One-off cleaning and Afterparty cleaning service, we leave the choice and supply of all the materials and equipment necessary for the cleaning to you.
Upon request, we can provide all the cleaning detergents and equipment necessary for the cleaning for an extra fee.

Deep cleaning is a different service than End of Tenancy Cleaning, therefore it cannot complies with the standard of the End of Tenancy Cleaning.

CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING / END OF TENANCY CLEANING / MOVE IN CLEANING

Carpet and upholstery cleaning

We offer a carpet and upholstery cleaning service using extraction cleaning machines and different methods and solutions to treat the stains. However, sometimes spills become permanent stains on the carpet (they have gone thru into the carpet pad or deep in upholstery), and although we use the last techniques and equipment, some kind of old stains cannot be removed completely from carpet.

We may change, cancel the service or increase the price already given if:

The property is in very bad condition or the place and it is not safe for the cleaners.

There is a big difference between information received from the customer and the real condition of the property.

If we found hiding or misleading information regarding the condition of the property.

If we cancel the service because of some the reasons above, we will charge the customer with £80 fee.

End of Tenancy Cleaning

Splendclean provides Professional End of Tenancy Cleaning Service. We clean the vacanted properties at high standards that cover all estate agents requrements for the cleanless at the end of the tenancy. For End of Tenancy Cleaning Service we will provide all necessary detergents and equipment without additional fee.

Rubbish removal is not included in the service. The fridge or freezer need to be defrosted. Furniture (if presented) need to be empty.

We don't clean tapes from window frames, from the floors, or from any surface. We don't scrub and clean the paint from floors, frames, furniture or any surface. For after builders cleaning we clean only dust left from the builders, we don't clean any marks of paint from the floors or from any surface. 

The customer must tell Splendclean if the cleaning is needed after evicted tenants, otherwise we may cancel or change type of the service or increase the price.

The price in the quote given is fixed for the End of Tenancy Cleaning Service. We require some information including the address in order to define the price. The quote is based on the information provided by customer. The information must be up to date. The price quoted for End of Tenancy Cleaning is fixed and is not related to the number of people or hours. We may increase the price given at the followinf ocasions:

All final prices for End of Tenancy Cleaning, After Builders Cleaning, Deep Cleaning given in advance are subject to change if:

One-Off Cleaning, End of Tenancy Cleaning and Holiday Apartment Cleaning do not include outside windows cleaning, ceiling cleaning and walls cleaning, curtains, balconies, patio and garden cleaning.

IRONING

Ironing service includes:

Sorting clothes
Folding clothes
Putting away all clothes in the closet (on request)
Ironing all types of clothes– undergarments, dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans, shirts, etc.
Please note that this service does not include laundry.
Ironing services can be ordered as separate services or combined with regular domestic cleaning.
If the customer decides to use ironing as a separate service, the minimum duration is 3h per visit on a weekly basis and 3h per visit on a fortnightly basis.
Please note that sometimes if ironing is combined with regular domestic cleaning, the hours necessary for the tasks to be done will be more than standard regular domestic cleaning.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide the agency and the cleaner with instructions for the ironing tasks as well as the equipment needed for the required service. All the necessary equipment should be in good working order and safe to use.
Splendclean and its operatives are not liable for damages caused by defective ironing equipment (iron, etc.) or spots caused by limescale from the iron.
The price per hour for ironing ordered as a separate service is £12.50 per hour.

CANCELLATIONS

Regular Domestic Cleaning/Holiday Apartment Cleaning

Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the visit. If the customer does not notify Splendclean of cancellation or any changes 24 hours in advance, a charge for the visit will still be applied.

12 months after the last visit provided by the cleaner on behalf of Splendclean Ltd, the customer cannot contract or employ the cleaner or operative provided by Splendclean directly or recommend him/her to a third party.

End of Tenancy Cleaning, One-off cleaning, Carpet Cleaning

Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the visit. If the customer does not notify Splendclean of cancellation or any changes 24 hours in advance, a £20 cancellation fee will be applied.

For the same day booking, changes or cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the visit. If the customer does not notify Splendclean of cancellation or any changes 24 hours in advance, a £20 cancellation fee will be applied.

We may cancel the booking if the customer is not able to provide us with a parking permit or a free parking space for more than two hours close to the property.

CLAIMS

We recommend that the customer check the cleaner's work after each visit. If the customer is not satisfied with the cleaning, our cleaner will clean again any areas and items to the client's satisfaction free of charge as soon as possible but not later than 3 working days after the last visit. Splendclean will provide re-cleaning only when the complaint is made after the cleaning or on the same day and has reasonable grounds for that.

Splendclean Ltd has Public Liability Insurance.

All fragile and breakable items must be secured or removed. All cash, jewellery, art, antiques and items of sentimental value must be removed or secured, too.
In a proven case of damage caused by services provided by Splendclean, the customer will receive adequate compensation.
If it is impossible for the item to be repaired, the customer will receive the actual cash value of the item.
Complaints about accidents and damages must be reported immediately by phone 24 hours after the event at the latest.
No claims can be made later than 24 hours after the event.
Splendclean will not be responsible for any accidental damages worth 50 pounds or less.

PAYMENTS

The customer can make the payment cash before the operative leaves the customer's premises. All cash amount of the service must be paid to the cleaner after the job to be done on the day of the service. (If the customer decides to pay cash)
The customer can make the payment via bank transfer in a period of three days from invoice date.

Missing or late payments

If the invoice issued to the customer for service provided is not paid on time and we may take legal action against you give or instruct debt collection agency to recover the money owed.
If payments are not made on time, 0.7% per month will be applied for each month's delay.
All the expenses that may occur relating to debt recovery are payable by the debtor.
We understand that sometimes the payments may be difficult. As a responsible business will review each occasion of late payments and will consider appropriate actions. We will remind you about the payments or contact with the customer before taking any further actions.

DEFINITIONS OF SERVICES PROVIDED

One-off cleaning-Cleaning service limited to a single time, occasion, or instance without fixed weekly or fortnightly schedule. It could be deep cleaning (more hours required) or general cleaning on the areas pointed by customer.
Regular cleaning -Cleaning service with a fixed day of the week on weekly daily or fortnightly basis, recurring at uniform intervals (one day, one week, two weeks) without any break of the scheduled visits.
End of Tenancy-Cleaning (Move in cleaning, move out Cleaning)- Cleaning of the whole property (after the residents quit or before new residents arrive) without carpet cleaning (without outside windows cleaning, ceiling cleaning and walls cleaning, curtains, balconies, patio and garden cleaning), required in most of the cases post-cleaning check by the Customer, Landlord or third party agency.(Not related when the tenants are evicted)
End of Tenancy-Cleaning with Carpet Cleaning included (Move in cleaning, move out Cleaning)-Cleaning of the whole property including carpet cleaning (without outside windows cleaning, ceiling cleaning and walls cleaning, curtains, balconies, patio and garden cleaning), required in most of cases post-cleaning check by the Customer, Landlord or third party agency(Not related when the tenants are evicted)
Carpet Cleaning-Refreshing carpet and stains treatment(which are not permanent), removing the dirt, grit, sand, and allergens using different methods mainly extraction cleaning.

Holiday Apartment Cleaning-Cleaning service after and before short holiday letting at the property, scheduled in advance.

TAKING PICTURES.

We may take pictures of the certain areas or items at the property in order to make a report for the service, make a report for damage or a proof for the service already done. We may take pictures from the certain areas, or items at the property if we found damaged items they are not declared by the customer before the cleaning. We may take pictures before and after the cleaning for our marketing purposes. We never discloser to the third party (except authorities or insurance companies) the owner of the property or the address where the pictures are shooted.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Splendclean cannot be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by bleach or substances containing bleach.
Splendclean does not accept liability for any business loss of contracts of business opportunity, loss of revenue, loss of profits or loss of anticipated saving in expenditure.
Splendclean cannot be liable for any damages caused by faulty or not in full working order detergents or equipment supplied by the customer.

These Terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Splendclean Ltd reserves the right to make changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check our website for updates.
