After party cleaning can range from putting rooms back in order and cleaning floors to washing glasses, addressing a heavily used kitchen or completing detailed bathroom cleaning. A professional after-party cleaning service should therefore be booked around the actual event rather than a generic checklist.
Tell Splendclean how many guests are expected, which rooms will be used and whether the property will be occupied during cleaning. Explain if food and drink will be served, whether dishes need washing and if stains, rubbish, carpet washing, appliance interiors or inside windows may require attention.
The service is designed for agreed cleaning tasks. It does not automatically include moving heavy furniture, repairing damage, handling hazardous waste, removing large quantities of rubbish from the property or cleaning areas that were not included in the quotation.

SAFE POST-PARTY CLEANING
Disclose broken glass, spills and unusual waste
Ordinary party rubbish is different from sharp, hazardous, biological or bulky waste. Tell Splendclean before the appointment about broken glass, needles or sharps, bodily fluids, vomit, blood, unknown substances, excessive alcohol spills, damaged furniture or any area that may be unsafe.
Cleaners must be able to work without avoidable risk. Unsafe materials may require specialist handling or exclusion from the service. Children, guests and pets should be kept away from active cleaning areas, equipment, wet floors and products.
PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT
Confirm who will provide the cleaning materials
Splendclean’s current service terms state that customers normally provide the materials and equipment required for one-off and after-party cleaning. Cleaning products and equipment can be requested from Splendclean for an additional fee.
Make this choice during booking so the arrangement and quotation are clear. If the customer is supplying materials, ensure that suitable products, clean cloths, bin bags, a working vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket are available for the agreed tasks. Tell Splendclean about delicate surfaces or products that must not be used.

CARPET SPILLS AND STAINS
Vacuuming is not professional carpet washing
Vacuuming accessible carpets may form part of the agreed post-party clean. Carpet washing, extraction cleaning and stain treatment are specialist services requiring suitable equipment, additional time and assessment.

Is there a minimum booking?
Yes. The currently published minimum charge for after-party cleaning is based on three hours.
Are dishes and glasses included?
Only when requested. Select washing-up on the form and describe the approximate quantity, especially for larger events.
Will cleaners take rubbish away?
Ordinary rubbish can be bagged and placed in an agreed on-site location. Off-site removal, bulky waste and hazardous waste are not automatically included.
Is oven or refrigerator cleaning included?
These time-intensive details must be selected and agreed. Empty the refrigerator before an internal clean.
Can party stains be removed from carpets?
Professional carpet cleaning can be requested separately, but no responsible cleaner can guarantee removal of every stain.
